The palate is full and intense, bringing raspberry, cassis and caramelized sugar over round, fine-grained tannins. Firm grip keeps the sweetness balanced through a long, spicy finish. Decant carefully and serve with blue cheese or dark chocolate.

Smith Woodhouse has been a specialist producer of premium-quality Ports since 1784 when Christopher Smith, Lord Mayor of London, created a small company to ship Port from the Douro valley. Smith was joined a few years later by the Woodhouse brothers. Through the last 200 years, this small Port Company has been built a reputation for outstanding Vintage Ports.
