Bernabeleva 2022 Navaherreros Garnacha

Spanish Red
$34.99
Strawberry, raspberry, violet, white pepper, herbs and balsamic notes appear with earthy, mineral and iron tones. The wine is made entirely from Garnacha grown on granite in vineyards between fifty and ninety years old. Grapes were harvested by hand, and fermentation took place with native yeasts in wood and concrete, with more than thirty-five days on skins. Ageing included eleven months in French oak and six months in stainless steel.

Salvajes de Gredos 2023 Marino Blanco

Spanish White
$48.99
Straw in colour, the wine carries ripe fruit, dried flowers, fine-lees character and dried herbs. The palate is juicy and varietal. Albillo Real comes from seventy-five-year-old vines in San Martín de Valdeiglesias, rooted in sandy soil over granite. The vineyard is managed organically without herbicides or insecticides, and horses are used in place of machinery.

Las Moradas de San Martín 2019 Senda Garnacha 1.5 L

Spanish Red
$76.99
Old bush vines grow on granitic, sandy-loam soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and sorted on a table. Fermentation uses indigenous yeasts, and maturation lasts ten months in five-hundred-litre French oak. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration. Cherry colour accompanies floral notes, plum, scrubland and mineral character. The profile is fresh, lively and aromatic, with a long finish.

Cinco Leguas 2022 La Maldición Tinto Fino Vinos de Madrid

Spanish Red
$33.99
Light, dry and rustic in the best sense, with an easy flow and enough freshness to keep the palate lively. High-elevation Tempranillo gives the wine its structure, while Malvar from similarly elevated vineyards adds lift to the blend. The texture is unforced and approachable, closing cleanly with gentle grip and a distinctly thirst-quenching feel.

Las Moradas de San Martín 2018 Las Luces Vinos de Madrid

Spanish Red
$83.99
Cherry-coloured and aromatic, with wild berries, balsamic herbs, liquorice and grapefruit lifted by a clear note of thyme. Broad and unctuous on the palate, it carries the mineral stamp of dry-farmed granite soils without losing freshness. Excellent natural acidity balances the depth, leading to an elegant, persistent finish with a subtle bitter edge.
