Bright red colour opens with dark cherry and other red-fruit aromas, joined by cinnamon and dried herbs. The palate is fresh, fruity, earthy and mineral, with spice, present tannins, light acidity and a long finish. Made entirely from Nerello Mascalese, the wine comes from Sicily’s volcanic soils and carries the Terre Siciliane IGT designation. It contains thirteen percent alcohol and is closed with a screw cap.
