Autumn spices, dusty rose, blood orange and dried cherry appear alongside wild berry fruit and mineral tones. The texture is silken, with zesty acidity, sweet tannins, violet and confectionery spice. Made entirely from Nerello Mascalese grown in the Bellacolonna parcel of Calderara Sottana, the wine ferments under controlled temperatures, ages fourteen months in French oak and then rests in stainless steel.
