Tenuta Argentiera 2022 Villa Donoratico Bolgheri Rosso

Subdued aromas of dried blueberry, leather, espresso, oak and exotic spice accompany blackberry, graphite and liquorice. The tannins are lithe. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot make up the blend. The vineyard lies between 30 and 80 metres, with continental sands and flysch composed of limestone, marl, clay, sandstone and siliceous rock. The site is planted at 6,000 vines per hectare.

About Tenuta Argentiera
Tenuta Argentiera was founded in 1999 near Donoratico, at the southern end of Bolgheri. Its 153-hectare property includes 85 hectares of vines, divided among four areas with different soils and exposures. Mediterranean woodland separates the vineyard blocks, which benefit from sea breezes and the change in temperature between day and night. Cabernet, Merlot and Vermentino are among the principal grapes grown here.
