Sherry sweetness leads the nose, followed by freshly cut grass, autumn fruit and restrained notes of coffee and dark chocolate. The palate is smooth and composed, with floral tones, vanilla and gentle spice layered over rounded fruit and nut flavours. A marriage of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks gives the whisky breadth without heaviness. The finish is warm and soft, carrying fruit, nuts and lingering sherry. Serve neat or with a few drops of water.
