Made entirely from Baga, the wine brings together red cherry, strawberry, savoury herbs and mineral notes in a fresh, bright profile. The grapes grow on limestone soils under organic and biodynamic farming. They are destemmed, fermented carbonically and matured for ten months in stainless steel. Minimal sulfur is added at bottling, and the wine carries eleven percent alcohol with a silky texture and slight spritz.

About Niepoort
Niepoort dates to 1842, when the house began in Portugal’s Douro region with Port. Its scope widened after Quinta de Nápoles was acquired in 1987 and the first unfortified Douro wines followed in 1990, establishing Redoma among the new table-wine projects. Later work reached Vinho Verde, Bairrada and Dão, including the light-footed Nat’Cool movement and Rótulo from Quinta da Lomba. Late Bottled Vintage Port, Redoma, Nat’Cool, Rótulo and Diálogo therefore belong to one wide-ranging Portuguese house rather than unrelated regional producers.
