Light in colour, the wine combines raspberry, dried cranberry and cherry with baking spice, forest-floor and mushroom notes. Its fruit concentration sits within a savoury profile. Grignolino’s numerous seeds give the variety pronounced tannin. This bottling also has an acidic backbone, a tannic finish and 12.5 percent alcohol. The winemaker recommends serving it chilled, in the manner of a white wine.
