Verdejo
Telmo Rodríguez 2018 Basa Rueda
Grapefruit, white currant and spring flowers open the nose, with a stony mineral note and a hint of tropical fruit underneath. The palate is crisp, dry and medium-bodied, driven by bright acidity and clean citrus fruit. Refreshing yet composed, it finishes balanced and direct, with enough texture to feel serious without losing its easy-drinking charm.

Organically grown fruit from La Seca is partly fermented in French oak, bringing gentle volume while bright acidity keeps the palate precise. The finish is balanced, savoury and persistent. Serve chilled with grilled fish, shellfish, vegetable rice dishes, roast poultry or creamy cheese.

Nectarine opens the profile with delicate stone-fruit and floral notes. Ripe melon and fresh citrus accompany a textured, medium-bodied palate, while key lime gives the finish a dry, tart edge. The Verdejo was hand-picked in two lots, twenty days apart, then whole-cluster pressed. Fermentation used stainless steel and twenty-eight percent concrete. Lees ageing lasted five months, and alcohol is 13.4 percent.
