French Red
Aydie 2019 Madiran Ode d’Aydie
French Red
Dark, concentrated fruit leads, framed by firm grip and a measured touch of oak. The palate is full and warmly structured, with the depth of a ripe vintage kept in check by clear, savoury tension. A persistent finish carries the fruit and tannic shape together. Serve with roast beef, duck or slow-cooked dishes.
Salton Classic 2013 Reserva Especial Tannat
Brazilian Red
Blueberry and prune lead this full-bodied Tannat, with smoke, chocolate, vanilla and dried herbs adding savoury depth. A brief passage through American oak rounds the palate, leaving the structure balanced, the tannins soft and the dark-fruit finish lingering. Serve at cool room temperature with roast pork, duck, pasta in a rich sauce, grilled red meat or firm cheese.
Moderato Cuvée Révolutionnaire Merlot-Tannat Alcohol-Free Red
French Non-Alcoholic Wine
Garnet colour carries purple highlights in this red wine. Black fruit, spice and a touch of vanilla accompany a supple, fruit-driven palate with velvety tannins, good structure and a fresh, soft finish. Merlot provides classic smoothness while Tannat supplies fine structure. After vinification, the wine is dealcoholized by low-temperature vacuum distillation to preserve its aromas, structure and balance.
Chateau d’Aydie 2009 Madiran
French Red
Deep ruby colour accompanies black fruit, coffee, graphite and dark chocolate. The palate is rich and weighty, with black plum, juicy acidity, silky tannins and precise oak. Tannat comes from three clay-based soil types, including limestone, gravel and rounded stones. The fruit is harvested by hand, followed by a five-day cold maceration and twenty to twenty-five days of skin contact.
Bodega Garzón 2020 Balasto Maldonado Red Blend
Uruguayan Red
Fresh red and black fruit lead with licorice, graphite, tobacco and lifted spice. The palate is vibrant and full-bodied, its concentrated fruit held by fine, persistent tannins and a firm mineral line. Orange blossom and subtle chile notes add aromatic detail, while restrained oak supports the structure. The finish is long and focused, carrying dark fruit, spice and stony savoury depth with polished tension.
Château d’Aydie 2012 Maydie Vintage Tannat
French Dessert
Sweet plum and ripe dark fruit wrap around firm Tannat structure, while contrasting acidity keeps this fortified red lively and clear. Generous and fruity rather than heavy, the palate carries supple sweetness, fresh lift and a gentle savoury grip into a balanced finish. A natural partner for dark chocolate, blue cheese or slow after-dinner sipping.
Aydie 2022 Sans Sulfites Madiran
French Red
Blackcurrant fruit sits over dusty tannins and firm acidity, giving this direct, clear-cut red more lift than weight. The palate is crisp and fresh, with a savoury edge and enough structure to remain unmistakably robust. Straightforward and energetic rather than heavy, it works well with grilled sausages, roast pork or lentils.
