Chenin Blanc
Champalou 2022 Vouvray Les Fondraux
Ripe Chenin Blanc fruit opens with gentle honeyed roundness, giving the palate concentration and fullness without heaviness. White-flower freshness and flinty minerality keep the sweetness precise, while a velvety texture carries cleanly into a brisk finish. Elegant and versatile, it works beautifully with pâté, mild curry or creamy cheeses.
Boschendal 2019 The Pavillion Chenin Blanc
Citrus and guava lead this dry, medium-bodied Chenin Blanc, with subtle waxy notes adding texture and depth. The palate is elegant and well balanced, combining a generous mouthfeel with crisp acidity and a clean, fruit-driven finish. Serve chilled with shellfish, grilled white fish, roast chicken, fresh salads or dishes carrying a gentle touch of spice.
Pax 2017 Buddha’s Dharma Vineyard Chenin Blanc
Melon, wool, Mirabelle plum and flowers appear with exotic fruit and spice. The Chenin Blanc is fresh and long. Vines were planted in nineteen forty-four on gravelly volcanic soils and are dry farmed without chemicals. Grapes are whole-cluster pressed. Ambient fermentation and full malolactic conversion take place in neutral French oak and new Stockinger Austrian barrels, followed by ten months in the same vessels.
Mullineux Olerasay No. 2 Solera-Aged Straw Wine 375 mL
Baked apricot, honeysuckle and marmalade rise from a deep golden glass, followed by honeyed richness and a gentle nutty edge. The palate is intensely concentrated yet held in balance by vivid acidity, so the natural sweetness feels bright rather than heavy. A long, layered finish carries dried fruit and citrus peel. Serve lightly chilled with hazelnut tart, blue cheese or fruit-based desserts; a small pour is ample.
Tall Horse 2025 Chenin Blanc
Mango, pineapple and passionfruit lead, with honeydew melon, citrus and a light touch of spice adding freshness. The palate is light-bodied and lively, carrying generous tropical fruit through crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing texture. Bright through the finish, it is well suited to fish tacos, grilled prawns, summer salads or mild curries.
Bees Knees 2020 Chenin Blanc Viognier
Ripe tangerine, apricot and pear lead, with orange blossom and fresh-cut herbs bringing lift. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, balancing orchard fruit with bright citrus, subtle spice and a clean line of acidity. A gently rounded, refreshing finish makes this South African white an easy partner for roast chicken, grilled prawns or lightly spiced vegetable dishes.
Catena 2021 White Clay Semillón-Chenin Blanc
Semillón and Chenin Blanc from Luján de Cuyo bring white flowers, citrus and stone fruit over a gently waxy texture. Bright acidity keeps the finish precise.
Manoir de la Tête Rouge NV Free Mousse Pétillant Naturel
Red apple, pear and citrus zest open with apricot, white flowers and subtle buttery toast. Fine persistent bubbles animate a creamy, gently rounded palate, while fresh acidity keeps the ripe orchard fruit poised. The wine finishes crisp and dry, with a charming balance of savoury depth and easy brightness.
Les Capriades 2019 Pet-Sec Pétillant Naturel
Lychee, white flowers and bright citrus rise over pear, apricot and a gentle yeasty note. The palate is dry and electric, with fine savoury bubbles carrying ripe melon and orchard fruit. A crunchy mineral backbone brings tension to the creamy texture, leaving the finish clean, vivid and lightly saline.
