Lychee, white flowers and bright citrus rise over pear, apricot and a gentle yeasty note. The palate is dry and electric, with fine savoury bubbles carrying ripe melon and orchard fruit. A crunchy mineral backbone brings tension to the creamy texture, leaving the finish clean, vivid and lightly saline.

About Les Capriades
Pascal Potaire began Les Capriades in 2005, and Moses Gadouche joined him in 2011 in Faverolles-sur-Cher. The Loire project focuses on the méthode ancestrale: wine finishes its first fermentation in the bottle, creating its sparkle.
Grapes come from the partners’ own vines and from organic growers. Fermentation starts spontaneously in tank; the bottles are riddled and disgorged by hand. The wines are made without fining, filtration, added sulphur or other additives.
