Osoyoos
La Stella 2019 Fortissimo Okanagan Valley
Bing cherry, red cherry and black cherry mingle with grilled herbs, cured tobacco and a subtle frame of warm oak. The palate is layered and savoury, with generous fruit, measured extraction and supple structure already working in harmony. Fresh acidity keeps the finish poised and inviting. Serve with osso buco, rosemary-crusted lamb or a mushroom cannelloni.
Sage Hills 2022 Second Pick Merlot
Ripe plum and dark cherry give the palate a generous core, balanced by fresh acidity and a lightly savoury edge. Partial whole-cluster fermentation adds lift, while twelve days on skins and seven months in neutral barrel build supple texture without overt oak. Unfined and unfiltered, it finishes smoothly with measured structure.
Rigour & Whimsy 2023 Bite of the Dragon Riesling
Certified-organic Riesling comes from the Sekhon family vineyard in Osoyoos, British Columbia. Whole clusters are direct pressed, and the juice settles before being racked to older barrels. Fermentation and ageing take place on full solids, after which the wine returns to stainless steel for bottling. The finished white wine contains 12.5 percent alcohol by volume.
Over the Fence 2021 Merlot
Ripe black fruit and Saskatoon berry preserve accompany spice, cedar, cocoa, vanilla and butter cream. Smoke is present at a low level, alongside refined acidity, smooth tannins and a finish. Merlot fruit from Osoyoos is destemmed and fermented in a three-ton wooden vat, then aged for sixteen months in French oak. The finished wine contains fifteen percent alcohol.
Moon Curser 2015 Carménère
Plum, green peppercorn, ripe raspberry, fennel seed, cherry, pomegranate, vanilla and cedar shape the profile. The wine is medium-bodied, with balanced acidity, soft tannins and a juicy impression; the finish is long and silky. Carménère comes from the Home and Stubbs vineyards on the Osoyoos East Bench. Hand-picked clusters are sorted in the vineyard and destemmed. Fermentation takes place at low temperature, and maturation uses French oak barriques, about one quarter new.
Bordertown 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark red in colour, with black fruit, blackcurrant, dark cherry, herbs, spice, stewed plum, mint, pepper and leather. The texture is firm, with fresh acidity and well-managed tannins. Estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon comes from an east-facing Osoyoos vineyard with gravel, light-coloured sand and heavy soil. Fermentation lasts twenty-four days. Natural malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak, and maturation lasts twelve to eighteen months in French oak.
Haywire 2019 Free Form Cabernet Sauvignon
Pure and lifted, with red currant, raspberry and dark berry fruit shaped by a subtle savoury edge. The palate is dry and finely structured, bringing supple tannins, bright acidity and a delicate yet brooding depth without oak-driven weight. The finish is long and clean. Pair with roast lamb, grilled mushrooms, lentils or simply prepared beef.
Nk’Mip 2009 Qwam Qwmt Cabernet Sauvignon
Rich and structured, with black cherry, plum and cassis joined by rosemary, dark spice and a subtle herbal note. The concentrated palate carries ripe black fruit through firm, complete tannins and balanced acidity, leading to a long, composed finish. Decant before serving with grilled beef, venison, braised short ribs or aged cheddar.
Poplar Grove 2015 Syrah
Dark fruit leads with a smooth, savoury character and a silky feel from the first sip. The palate builds through generous, fleshy intensity, while measured French oak gives the fruit shape and polish rather than heaviness. Rich yet composed, it has the depth for grilled lamb, pepper-crusted beef, braised short ribs, roasted mushrooms or aged hard cheese, with a long, confident finish.
Rigour & Whimsy 2021 Licorice Daddy Cabernet Franc
Fresh red fruit and green herbs meet in a bright, savoury profile. The palate is dry and energetic rather than jammy, with whole-berry fermentation preserving lift and three weeks on skins adding gentle structure. Five months in seasoned French oak rounds the texture, carrying the herbaceous fruit into a composed finish.
Lariana Cellars 2021 Twenty One
Generous and dark-fruited, with blackcurrant on the nose and rich flavours of plum, fig and black cherry across the palate. The blend brings Cabernet Sauvignon, Carménère and Syrah together in a composed, full-flavoured style. Its breadth is matched by clear aromatic definition, giving the wine depth and presence without crowding out the fruit.
Moon Curser 2021 Touriga Nacional
Rich, jammy black fruit leads, supported by a savoury undercurrent and a pronounced smoky character. The palate is full and concentrated, with ripe fruit carrying substantial weight before the smoke becomes more assertive through the finish. Bold and distinctive, this is a direct expression for drinkers who favour dark fruit and an emphatically smoke-led profile.
Moon Curser 2021 Arneis
Gala apple, apricot and white flowers lead a youthful, aromatic nose, joined by mint and yellow orchard fruit. The palate balances fleshy mid-palate weight with mouth-watering acidity, bringing kiwi, melon, grapefruit rind and Meyer lemon into focus. A clean mineral line carries the fruit through a graceful, zesty finish.
Narrative 2019 Red
Red fruit and fresh herbs open the nose, with dried sage and a mineral note adding savoury definition. The palate is juicy and approachable, layering plum, ripe raspberry and black cherry over subtle tannins. Lively acidity keeps the fruit bright, carrying a smooth black-cherry note through the finish.
Osoyoos Larose 2022 Petales d’Osoyoos
Exuberant and muscular, with savoury spice running through a ripe Bordeaux-style profile. The five-variety blend gives the palate breadth and layered structure, while youthful energy keeps the finish lively rather than heavy. Decant for 30 to 45 minutes before serving with roast lamb, grilled beef or mushroom dishes.
Osoyoos Larose 2020 Le Grand Vin
Opaque garnet, opening slowly on dark fruit. The palate is fuller-bodied, round and smooth, with medium acidity giving shape to the sweet black-fruit core. Vanilla adds warmth without obscuring the fruit, while firm tannins gather through the finish. Decant for an hour and serve with osso buco, roast lamb, savoury mushrooms or other slow-braised dishes.
