Nuits-Saint-Georges
Remoissenet Père et Fils 2019 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1Er
Concentrated Pinot Noir with dark cherry, strawberry and blackcurrant framed by rose and liquorice. Vigorous and chewy in youth, it carries substantial structure, layered fruit and impressive length, gradually softening into leather, truffle and game notes. A serious cellar-minded Burgundy for rib steak, roast duck, lamb or rich, soft-centred cheeses.
Lou Dumont Koji Nakada 2023 Nuits-Saint-Georges Vieilles Vignes
Ruby-red colour accompanies red-fruit aromas. The Pinot Noir is ripe, with well-integrated tannins, elegant structure and a lingering finish. Power and complexity appear with a robust, round and sappy palate. The wine carries the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation in Burgundy. Alcohol is 12.5 percent. The grapes are harvested by hand. Production follows both organic and sustainable vineyard practices.
Remoissenet 2009 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1.5 L
Dark red fruit, flowers, spices and liquorice appear in this Pinot Noir. Black cherry, pepper and a hint of tobacco are also present, while the wine is structured, juicy and balanced. The fruit comes from two village-level parcels, Bas de Combe and Aux Lavières. The grapes are hand harvested, and fermentation uses indigenous yeasts in open-top oak vats.
Bachelder 2011 Nuits-Saint-Georges La Petite Charmotte
Field berries and wild flowers lead the aroma, followed by raspberry, ripe cherry, cassis and a light anise note. Floral and incense details sit beside the fruit, with savoury spice appearing through the palate. The tannins are evident but smooth, and a mineral element supports the fruit. Cherry, spice and floral notes carry into the long, documented finish.
Rion 2018 Nuits-Saint-Georges
Cherry and blackcurrant lead the aroma, followed by truffle, forest floor, pepper and a cool eucalyptus note. The palate has the firm shape associated with Nuits-Saint-Georges, but the tannins remain polished and well integrated. Fresh acidity carries the dark fruit into a savoury, persistent finish with spice and earthy detail.
Remoissenet Père et Fils 2019 Nuits Saint Georges
Deep crimson Pinot Noir with rose, liquorice, cherry and blackcurrant, gaining leather, truffle and savoury depth with age. The palate is muscular and full-bodied, with a firm yet balanced structure and a long, composed finish. Built for patient cellaring and especially good with roast lamb, duck, game or washed-rind cheese.
