Château Beaumont 2022 Haut-Médoc

Black fruit, pencil lead and graphite appear in an intense profile with integrated tannins. The blend is 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. The vineyard lies between Margaux and Saint-Julien on deep gravel. Yields were twenty-eight hectolitres per hectare. Ageing lasts fourteen months, using 30% new barrels alongside one- and two-year-old wood. The wine contains fourteen percent alcohol.

Ruby-purple colour accompanies blackberry, spice and toast. The finish is balanced, with smooth tannins. Maturation lasts twelve months, with one-third in amphora and the balance in new and used oak.
