Faustino Rivero Ulecia 2025 Bierzo Godello
Clean, bright lemon-yellow colour carries golden highlights. Lime, floral notes and a herbaceous background accompany a fresh palate with good volume and a citrus finish. Godello grows in alluvial soils that combine clay, sand and pebbles. The wine spends three months on its lees without oak and contains 13% alcohol. This young white comes from Bierzo in northwestern Spain.
Descendientes de J. Palacios 2019 Pétalos del Bierzo
Red fruit, violet flowers and black-pepper spice accompany a fleshy, light and fresh profile. The finish is juicy and vibrant. Old Mencía vines grow on steep, rocky slate soils, and the vineyards span several Bierzo municipalities. The grapes are partially destemmed and crushed. Maceration lasts thirty days. Fermentation takes place in wooden vats and open stainless-steel tanks, while ageing lasts ten months in French oak.
Losada 2021 Godello Bierzo
Light yellow in colour, the wine offers pear and liquorice with floral, white-fruit and mineral notes. The palate has richness and a light oily texture without heaviness, supported by crisp acidity and slate-like minerality through the finish. Godello provides the full composition. Maturation lasts five months on fine lees, with seventy percent in stainless steel and thirty percent in used five-hundred-litre French oak barrels.
Raúl Pérez 2020 Ultreia Mencía
Ripe red fruit appears with balsamic and mineral notes, while the palate is fresh and balanced, with soft tannins and a persistent finish. The wine is made entirely from Mencía grown around Valtuille in Bierzo. Fruit is selected from the upper rows of the parcel, fermented in open vertical vats and aged for twelve months in neutral barrels. The finished wine contains 13.5 percent alcohol.
Losada 2019 Mencía Bierzo
Black cherry and plum lead with toast, dark chocolate and licorice, while mountain herbs and mineral notes add lift. The palate is expressive and balanced, with integrated tannins and acidity carrying the fruit into a composed finish. Generous but not heavy, it suits grilled steak, roast lamb or mushroom dishes.
Verónica Ortega 2020 ROC Bierzo
Dried rose, violet and ripe strawberry open the nose, followed by raspberry, bramble, liquorice and a cool balsamic-menthol note. The palate is full yet finely drawn, with juicy dark fruit, subtle incense and herbs carried by firm, fine-grained tannins. Fresh, balanced and quietly complex, it finishes long, savoury and poised for further development.
