Blackberry, blueberry, ripe cherry and blackcurrant lead this generous Shiraz, with black pepper, cocoa and a light touch of toasty oak adding depth. The palate is fruity and rounded, supported by soft, ripe tannins and a lingering, gently spiced finish. Its dark-fruit warmth makes it an easy table companion. Serve at cool room temperature with steak, burgers, barbecue or slow-cooked beef dishes.

About Santa Carolina
Santa Carolina was founded in 1875 by Luis Pereira, who named the winery for his wife, Carolina Íñiguez. Its Santiago cellar, designed by French architect Émile Doyère and completed in 1877, was declared a Chilean national monument in 1973. The Larraín family acquired the estate in 1974. The cellar was restored after the 2010 earthquake.
