Blackcurrant and blackberry lead, with cherry, plum and a thread of peppery spice. The palate is full-bodied but approachable, layering ripe dark fruit with hints of oak and chocolate, soft tannins and a rounded finish. Generous without feeling heavy, it works well with grilled beef, burgers, roast mushrooms or firm cheeses.
