Medium-bodied and finely drawn, the palate combines lively acidity with ripe, close-knit tannins and clear mineral tension. Red currant and saline notes lengthen the balanced finish, leaving a graceful, quietly structured impression.

About Biondi-Santi
At Tenuta Greppo in Montalcino, Clemente Santi and Ferruccio Biondi Santi helped establish Brunello through their work with barrel-aged Sangiovese Grosso. The estate’s first Brunello dates to 1888.
Its vineyards lie in the northeast of Montalcino, including high-lying sites with galestro-rich soils. For its Brunello, estate-grown Sangiovese is selected by hand, fermented in cement vats with indigenous yeast and aged in large Slavonian oak casks. La Storica, the estate’s wine library, holds historic Riserva bottles arranged by vintage.
