Blackcurrant, blackberry and plum lead this Tuscan Cabernet Sauvignon, joined by violet, graphite and restrained oak spice. The palate is full and structured, with ripe tannins supporting the dark fruit while fresh acidity keeps the shape precise. Tobacco, cedar and cocoa build toward a long, polished finish.

About Tolaini
Pier Luigi Tolaini returned to Tuscany after a long career in Canada and established his estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga in the late 1990s. His search led to the Montebello and San Giovanni properties in the southern part of Chianti Classico. Lia Tolaini Banville now leads the winery, while Francesco Rosi became head oenologist and production director in 2023.
The estate produces Sangiovese wines alongside separate Toscana IGT bottlings based on other varieties and vineyard sites. The producer describes the vineyards as organically farmed, alongside broader sustainability work. Tolaini's present work combines Castelnuovo Berardenga vineyards, family leadership and a range spanning Chianti Classico and Toscana IGT.
