Pale salmon, with crisp strawberry, red apple and a measured toasty note. The mousse is fine and refined, giving the fruit lift while extended lees ageing adds savoury depth and a creamy edge. Despite that breadth, the palate remains dry, precise and balanced, finishing long and chalky. Pair with crab cakes or duck breast with cranberry sauce.

About Blue Mountain
Ian and Jane Mavety began assembling the Okanagan Falls property behind Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars in 1971. After roughly two decades growing grapes for other wineries, they bottled the first Blue Mountain vintage in 1991.
The second generation includes winemaker Matt Mavety and Christie Mavety in winegrowing and the business. Vineyard and cellar work centre on the same South Okanagan estate, which produces both still and sparkling wines.
