Domaine Tinel-Blondelet 2024 Sancerre Fretoy
$59.99
White flowers, orange and clementine form a bright, aromatic bouquet, with a light hint of anise adding definition. The palate is ample and rounded, its ripe fruit balanced by freshness and a gently bitter close. Clean and versatile, it works well as an aperitif or with asparagus, shellfish and fresh goat cheese.

About Domaine Tinel-Blondelet
At Domaine Tinel-Blondelet, family winegrowing around Pouilly-sur-Loire is documented from the late sixteenth century. Annick Tinel-Blondelet took over from her parents, Camille and Fernand, in 1983, representing the family's twelfth generation of growers. The domaine farms sixteen hectares in sixty-six small plots across Pouilly-Fumé, Sancerre and Pouilly-sur-Loire.
Kimmeridgian marl, flint and Villiers limestone underlie its vineyards, planted to Sauvignon Blanc, Chasselas and Pinot Noir. The estate uses organic fertiliser and avoids insecticides. Each plot is vinified in its own tank, with gentle pressing, gravity flow and maturation on fine lees.
