French Red
Blackcurrant, violet and dark plum open with wild pepper, mint and savoury spice. The palate is smooth but clearly shaped, with clean acidity keeping the fruit focused and the tannins approachable. Fresh, direct and quietly earthy, it finishes with black fruit and herbs. Serve with grilled vegetables, braised meat, polenta or mature cheese.
Château du Cèdre 2022 Juvéniles Cahors
French Red
Dark red colour with violet reflections accompanies blueberry, cassis, liquorice, violet and cherry stone. The palate is supple, juicy and fresh, with crisp tannins and a cherry-stone finish. Made entirely from Malbec, the wine undergoes one week of maceration without winemaking additives and spends eighteen months in concrete tanks. It carries 12.5 percent alcohol and comes from organically farmed vineyards.
Domaine Capelanel 2021 Cuvée Ladybug Cahors
French Red
The wine is made from Malbec grown on an organically cultivated fourteen-hectare estate in Cahors. Old vines stand on iron-rich siderolithic soils in the Lot. Sébastien Dauliac is the fifth generation to work the property. This red, dry release carries the AOP Cahors designation and has thirteen-point-five percent alcohol. The cuvée is bottled under the Ladybug name.
Mas del Périé 2017 Amphore Cahors Malbec
French Red
Violet, red and black berries appear in this Malbec, with black fruit, spice and a delicate texture. The palate is velvety, while the firmer finish returns to fruit and spice. The wine comes from a one-hectare parcel on ferruginous and calcareous soils. It ferments in egg-shaped tanks and matures for six months in 800-litre amphorae. It contains twelve and a half percent alcohol.
Château Lamartine 2001 Expression Cahors
French Red
Fruit in alcohol, vanilla wood and a touch of spice appear with a supple palate and chocolate character. The wine shows violet and dark reflections. Côt, also known as Malbec, grows on clay-limestone terroir and is matured in barrel. The tannins are very fine and the profile has elegance. Production amounted to twenty thousand bottles.

French Red
Dried black plum, cassis, blackberry, leather, cigar box, truffle, graphite, liquorice and earth are present. Full-bodied texture and rounded tannins accompany fresh acidity, stewed dark fruit, cocoa, tobacco, forest floor and savoury spice. A long finish is also present. The wine is made entirely from Malbec. Ripe tannins and fresh fruit sit alongside flavours from new oak, with a restrained character.

Juicy black fruit and savoury spice lead a rich, concentrated profile. The palate is dense and firmly structured, yet the fruit remains balanced and composed rather than heavy. Depth builds through a long, dark-fruited finish. Decant before serving with roast beef, lamb, braised mushrooms or mature cheese.
