On the nose, TRUST Ancient Grains has captured intriguing and complex floral notes offered by Khorsan and Spelt ancient grains, but not weight. Emmer is the backbone with lots of rich concentration brimming with spice, honey, baked apple, molasses and caramel. The touch of Barley adds a nice pop of graham cracker elements and length to the finish. The result is something that is more than the sum of its parts.

Notes of cinnamon, Mandarin orange peel, baked apple and vanilla all combine to provide the palette with a profound depth of complexity and body. The Invernahaven was matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks. This sherried classic single malt has a rich body with a creamy mouthfeel on the palate. The nose throws plums, raisins and spices, complemented by structured tannins and oakwood notes in the mouth, that ultimately yield to a background of expressive malt. The finish and development are long and complex with a hint of sea salt and symphony of diverse flavours. This whisky was made from BC malted barley in Victoria.
