Orofino 2012 Home Vineyard Old Vines Riesling
Canadian White
Crisp lime and mineral notes accompany a slightly sweet entry and mouth-watering fruit. The finish is medium-plus in length. The technical figures record 12.5 percent alcohol, nine grams per litre of titratable acidity and twenty grams per litre of residual sugar. This was the first vintage in which the estate bottled its single-vineyard Rieslings separately.
Clos des Centenaires 2023 Grenache Vieilles Vignes
French Red
Cooked raspberry and sour-cherry notes sit with black pepper. The tannins are supple, and roasted hazelnut appears in the finish. The Grenache fruit comes from old vines in Costières de Nîmes. Fermentation takes place in concrete, followed by ageing in used four-hundred-litre oak barrels. The vineyard has rounded Villafranchian stones and lies near the Mediterranean.
Domaine du Couvent 2020 Les Jumelles Bourgogne Pinot Noir

The two adjacent Pinot Noir vineyard parcels located in Gevrey-Chambertin are named Grands Champs and Prunier. Together they cover one third of a hectare, with each parcel equal in area and similarly planted. Their clay-rich soils are associated with roundness, structure and power. Average production from the two parcels is seven Burgundy barrels per harvest.
Domaine Séguinot-Bordet 2023 Chablis Premier Cru Fourchaume
French White
Mint, quinine, lemon rind and brine appear with a light oak note. The middleweight palate has a stony character, followed by a balanced, clean and dry finish with length and complexity. Honeysuckle, linden and crushed stone also add further detail. The wine is Chardonnay from estate vines in the Fourchaume sector known as L'Homme Mort.
Michele Castellani 2006 Colle Cristi Amarone della Valpolicella Classico
Italian Red
Kirsch and prune sit with aromatic tobacco, leather, graphite and dark-chocolate notes. The tannins are compact, and the finish is long and smoky. Cooked fruit and spice accompany a velvety texture and full body. The process begins with selected harvested grapes, followed by drying, destemming and crushing before a slow fermentation and subsequent cellar maturation.
Domaine Garnier & Fils 2018 Chablis Premier Cru Mont de Milieu
French White
Water-flower fragrances include lily, water lily and arum. The palate is sapid, with a lasting iodine-like finish. Chardonnay from thirty-five-year-old vines is matured in six-hundred-litre French-oak barrels, then blended with thirty percent wine aged in stainless steel. The subsoil contains fossilized oyster shells, and the wine has a white-gold colour. Yellow-fruit and citrus flavours accompany lively freshness and a dense profile.
Domaine de la Pépière 2015 Clos des Briords Muscadet Magnum 1.5 L
French White
Lime, pear, lemon and fresh flowers accompany a mineral profile. Crisp fruit, balance and restraint are also present. The Melon de Bourgogne vines in the Clos des Briords parcel were more than eighty years old at the time of release. Greater old-vine concentration sits within a youthful profile, alongside the same fruit and mineral details.
Clos Sainte Magdeleine 2023 Cassis Blanc
French White
Hazelnut, coffee and pastry notes sit beside a saline accent. The palate is rounded, with salinity and freshness, while light bitterness appears in the finish. The four-variety blend combines Marsanne at forty-five percent, Ugni Blanc at twenty-five percent, Clairette at twenty percent and Bourboulenc at ten percent. Certified-organic farming is used across the estate's vineyards.
Singlefile 2024 Family Reserve Denmark Chardonnay
Australian White
Intense grapefruit and nectarine aromas include citrus blossom and subtle French-oak nuance. Citrus and stone fruit are joined by creaminess and a nutty texture. Fruit from a Denmark vineyard planted in nineteen eighty-six is whole-bunch pressed, with one-third fermented in new oak and the remainder in one-year-old French-oak barriques. Nine months in oak include partial malolactic fermentation and weekly lees stirring for five months.

Italian Red
Ruby red in colour, with fresh red fruit and herbal hints. Complex flavours combine bright fruit, lively acidity and a pleasantly tannic finish. Forest berry, mint, clove and new leather are also present, alongside red cherry, raspberry compote and liquorice. The 7.5-acre vineyard lies on a lower ridge near Asili, where cool wind from the Tanaro River reaches calcium-rich soil.

Handpicked fruit comes from terraced parcels at Buschenberg, Hochrain and Weitenberg, where mica schist, gneiss and loess are present. The grapes are completely destemmed, with five percent stems returned for four weeks of skin contact. Spontaneous fermentation is followed by fifteen months in used 300-litre wood. Bottling uses minimal sulphur and coarse filtration, and the dry white carries twelve and one-half percent alcohol.
Giuseppe Mascarello 2020 Bricco Mirasole Dolcetto d’Alba
Italian Red
Deep ruby-red tends toward violet. The profile is winey, strong, fruity and varietal, with a very dry, typically bitterish taste and an intense, elegant, well-balanced character. Fruit comes from a vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. Selected, thinned estate fruit undergoes traditional floating-cap fermentation at controlled temperature, followed by stabilization in an inert tank without oak. Bottling occurs one year after harvest.
Trefethen 2016 Estate Pinot Noir
American Red
Forest floor, dark cherry, raspberry and strawberry appear in the aromas. The palate is velvety and carries truffle, mushroom and baking-spice flavours. Fruit comes from Oak Knoll District in Napa Valley, and the bottle carries thirteen and six-tenths percent alcohol. The winery recommends leaner meats, poultry or sausage, with coriander, rosemary, thyme, tarragon, cinnamon or allspice.
BACA 2018 Bleachers Rudy’s Vineyard Zinfandel
American Red
Wild game and mushroom are joined by ripe, rich fruit and powerfully built tannins. A crisp, crunchy undercurrent of high-toned red fruit brings brightness, and the finish carries oaky spice. The wine comes from Rudy's Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley and contains fifteen and four-tenths percent alcohol. The fruit is identified as old-vine Zinfandel from Sonoma County.
Mount Edward 2020 Ted Pinot Noir
New Zealand Red
Bright red-ruby in colour, with plum, coffee and herb aromas and flavours. Smooth tannins accompany a lively, medium-long finish. Redcurrant, raspberry, liquorice and dark chocolate are also present. The Pinot Noir is grown organically in Central Otago under New Zealand certification, and the bottle carries thirteen and one-half percent alcohol. The overall texture is soft and supple.
Tenuta Casenuove 2018 Chianti Classico Riserva
Italian Red
Deep, brilliant ruby in colour. The bouquet includes violet, red fruit and black fruit, with morello cherry and blueberry. The palate is full, enveloping, elegant and sinuous, with dense, silky tannins and acidity. Selected fruit spends twelve months in cement, large Slavonian-oak casks and new and used barriques, followed by twenty-four months of bottle ageing.
Simonnet-Febvre 2020 Irancy Paradis Pinot Noir
French Red
Intense violet colour accompanies berries and blackberries. Present, melted tannins give the wine power and length, with roundness and firmness in balance. Pinot Noir grows on limestone marl in a south- to southwest-facing amphitheatre protected from northerly winds. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by eighteen months of ageing divided between eighty-five percent stainless steel and fifteen percent oak.
Benton-Lane 2022 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir
American Red
Fresh raspberry and sour cherry meet black pepper, cardamom, earth, dried thyme and pennyroyal. The wine is medium-bodied, with a vibrant, textured midpalate, elegant tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish. Each vineyard block was handled separately, with five to seven days of cold soak before fermentation. After gentle pressing, malolactic fermentation took place in French oak, followed by ten months in barrel with nineteen percent new oak.
Domaine Roland Lavantureux 2022 Chablis Vieilles Vignes
French White
Three parcels in Lignorelles, planted with vines roughly fifty to sixty years old, contribute to this Chablis. Forty percent is raised in barrels of mixed sizes, with no new oak. Yellow citrus and honey appear in a deep profile. The wine is cool, direct and energetic, with intensity at the finish and a light creamy accent from barrel ageing.
Gabriëlskloof 2022 Syrah on Shale
South African Red
A single Bokkeveld shale site with high clay content retains water and contributes a riper fruit profile. More than half the crop was destemmed, while the balance remained in clusters. Wild fermentation took place in small open-top fermenters, followed by extended maceration and fourteen months in second- and third-fill French oak. Violets, pepper, blueberry, darker berries and black olive accompany stony texture, powdery tannins and fresh acidity.
Bella Wines 2022 Mariani Vineyard Clone 787 Gamay Ancestrale Rosé Magnum 1.5 L
Canadian Sparkling
Pale peach in colour, this bone-dry, racy pét-nat carries tangerine, wild strawberry, white peach and crunchy green apple. Clone 787 Gamay comes from the organically farmed Mariani Vineyard on Naramata Bench. Fruit and acidity are balanced, and the wine carries nine percent alcohol. The sparkling rosé follows the ancestral method and was produced in a run of seventy-five cases.
Koerner 2022 Parish Vineyard Riesling
Australian White
Parish Vineyard faces south in Watervale, with red clay over slate and vines planted more than a century ago. The fruit is hand-harvested and sorted, then crushed and destemmed before six hours on skins in the press. Natural fermentation uses ten percent ceramic amphora and ninety percent steel. The wine remains on fine lees in stainless steel for nine months and is bottled without fining or filtration.
Summers Estate 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon
American Red
Medium-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon brings fruity sweetness with cassis and black currant, joined by chocolate and coffee. The fruit is drawn from several selected Calistoga vineyards, including Villa Andriana Vineyard. Waxy plum and watermelon are also present, while tar and yeast also appear. The wine comes from Napa, California, and carries fourteen and two-tenths percent alcohol.
Tedeschi 2020 Marne 180 Amarone della Valpolicella
Italian Red
Fruit from hillside Valpolicella vineyards is dried for about four months in a controlled environment. Maturation lasts three years in Slavonian oak, followed by at least six months in bottle. Aromatic freshness, substantial structure, balance and good acidity characterize the wine. The designation refers to marl soils and vineyard exposures running from southwest to southeast across a span of 180 degrees.
Domaine de l’Ecu 2017 Ange Pinot Noir
French Red
Pinot Noir is harvested by hand, with half the fruit destemmed. Native fermentation takes place in stainless steel, with pumpovers during the first seven or eight days, followed by pneumatic pressing and twelve months in amphora. Bottling is unfined and unfiltered. Ripe black fruit, blackberry, violet and delicate spice accompany a full-bodied profile that combines power with delicacy.
Agostina Pieri 2017 Brunello di Montalcino
Italian Red
Clusters are selected by hand in the vineyard and again on sorting tables in the cellar. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, followed by twenty-two days of maceration. The wine spends twenty-four months in wood, divided between 600-litre demi-muids and larger French-oak casks, then six months in stainless steel and eighteen months in bottle. The blend is entirely Sangiovese from two south-facing vineyards.
Ailm Estate 2021 Blanc de Blanc Sparkling Wine
Canadian Sparkling
Lively bubbles accompany yellow apple, brioche and subtle salinity in a bright Chardonnay sparkling wine. The grapes come from Westpoint Vineyard in the Okanagan Valley and were harvested in the first week of September after a hot growing season. Malolactic fermentation was completed, the wine spent twenty-eight months on its lees, and the final dosage was 6.5 grams per litre.
Chanterêves 2022 Bourgogne Blanc
French White
White peach, apple and citrus form the flavour profile of this Chardonnay. The certified-Organic white is made in Burgundy with older barrels and carries twelve and a half percent alcohol. The domaine's white wines ferment spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, spend twelve months in used oak barrels ranging from 228 to 600 litres, and continue in stainless steel without filtration or fining.
Domaine Pinson 2015 Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons
French White
The estate's 0.20-hectare left-bank parcel sits at the top of the slope in Les Chatains. Its soils are less Kimmeridgian and more Portlandian. Vinification takes place in tank and maturation in old barrels. The white wine is fruity, round and charming. Oak is used for density and micro-oxidation rather than wood flavour, and the estate harvests all of its vineyards by hand.
St. Amant 2022 Marian’s Vineyard Reserve Zinfandel
American Red
Bright, acid-driven red fruit appears with soft tea-like tannins and baking spice from used oak. Earthiness and a leaf-to-stem character sit alongside whole-cluster fermentation. The wine is fermented with native yeast and finished without new oak. The vineyard was planted more than a century ago and is farmed by Mohr-Fry Ranches under LODI RULES certification in Lodi, California.
