Tenute Silvio Nardi 2019 Brunello di Montalcino
$119.99
Black cherry and cassis lead a layered, savoury profile, joined by dried herbs, underbrush and toasted almond. The palate is composed and firmly balanced, with velvety tannins carrying the dark fruit into a persistent finish. Generous without excess, it is well suited to braised lamb, roast pork or aged pecorino.

About Tenute Silvio Nardi
Tenute Silvio Nardi began in Montalcino when Silvio Nardi acquired Casale del Bosco in 1950. The first Brunello followed in 1954, and the purchase of Manachiara in 1962 established a second estate on the opposite side of the appellation. Casale del Bosco lies in north-west Montalcino and Manachiara in the south-east, with Sangiovese grown at both.
The house Brunello blends twenty separately made batches from the two estates, while Vigneto Manachiara comes from its namesake vineyard. Years of vineyard mapping and vine selection led to four estate Sangiovese clones entering Italy’s national register in 2019.
