Okunomatsu Kinmon Gold Crest Sake 720 mL

$37.99

Fragrant and balanced, with a warm flavour and a gently sweet profile. The rice is polished to seventy percent, while the sake meter value is minus one. It can be served chilled, at room temperature, gently warmed or hot. The style is intended for simple evening drinking, with an even character that remains approachable across a broad range of serving temperatures.

About Okunomatsu Sake Brewery
Okunomatsu Sake Brewery traces its history to 1716 in Nihonmatsu, Fukushima, where the Yusa family moved from samurai service into commerce and sake brewing. Joji Yusa became its nineteenth-generation leader in 2007. The brewery uses rice grown around Nihonmatsu and soft water from Mount Adatara’s snowmelt, filtered underground for decades. Head brewer Keiichi Tonokawa aims for approachable sake with a balance of aroma and umami.
