Distinctive and vinous, with papaya and clementine leading a fragrant mix of tropical fruit and subtle herbs. The palate is full of high-toned ester character, balanced by wine-cask depth, leather and dark fruit. Mature oak gives structure without flattening the brighter notes. The finish is long and full, moving through bramble berries and darker fruit with a gently herbal, savoury close.

About Renegade Rum Company
Launched in 2005, Renegade Rum Company was an independent bottler of single-estate rums, developed by the team behind Murray McDavid. Wine merchants Mark Reynier and Simon Coughlin had founded Murray McDavid with Gordon Wright in 1994. The team selected rums from established distilleries, often giving them further maturation in wine casks before bottling without chill filtration.
