Bollinger Special Cuvée Brut Champagne 3L

$549.99

Pear and black cherry are layered with brioche, fresh walnut and gentle spice. The palate is broad and velvety, with fine bubbles, bright acidity and enough structure to carry the ripe fruit. Toast, candied citrus and a saline almond note add complexity through the long finish. Serve well chilled with oysters, roast chicken, smoked salmon or aged Comté.

About Bollinger
Champagne Bollinger began in Aÿ on 6 February 1829, when Athanase de Villermont joined Jacques Bollinger and Paul Renaudin to create Renaudin-Bollinger & Cie. Elisabeth “Lily” Bollinger later led the house through and after the Second World War, travelling widely and leaving a lasting mark on its identity. The fifth generation now guards the family's independence while professional management runs the business. Bollinger's style is built around Pinot Noir, an extensive estate vineyard and a cellar culture that favours time. Wines are fermented in small oak barrels maintained by Champagne's last resident cooper, while part of the reserve is aged in magnums under cork. These methods support a broad, vinous and layered expression that remains unmistakably French and distinctly Bollinger.
