A bright ruby colour accompanies dark berry and stone-fruit aromas with liquorice and fresh herbs. Blackberry, cassis and plum appear on the full-bodied palate, supported by fresh acidity and smooth, velvety tannins. The finish has length. The blend combines Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera from Puglia and is identified as sustainably produced. Suggested pairings include cured meats, aged cheeses and grilled game.

About Vineka
Guglielmo Zito founded Vineka in 2016 after returning to his native Martina Franca in Puglia. His path had taken him from agricultural economics and local vineyard work to the wine export trade in London.
He works with local growers and oversees the wines from grape selection through bottling. The range centres on Puglian grapes, including Negroamaro, Primitivo, Susumaniello, Verdeca and Bianco d’Alessano.
