Medium-bodied and savoury, with wild blueberry, sour cherry and dark plum layered over baking spice, black walnut and a faint meaty note. Four months in neutral oak keeps the fruit clear while adding gentle texture. Fresh acidity and fine tannins carry the focused finish. Pair with grilled sausage, roast duck, mushrooms or lentil dishes.

About Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery
The Boucherie estate began as a grape-growing operation in 1968, with the winery following in 2001. It takes its name from the extinct volcano above West Kelowna, where glaciers helped shape the home vineyard’s soils. Its vineyards extend from West Kelowna to Okanagan Falls, the Golden Mile Bench and South Cawston in the Similkameen, with some plantings dating to the 1960s.
Jeff Hundertmark leads the winemaking, with an emphasis on low yields and time for ageing. The range includes wines intended to be enjoyed young, longer-aged reserves and vineyard-focused Original Vines bottlings.
