Red and black fruits, cherry preserve and plum lead, with balsamic herbs and warm spice adding complexity. The palate is rich yet notably balanced, its sweetly ripe fruit supported by supple tannins and a savoury tang. Dried orange peel and cocoa appear through the long, harmonious finish.

About Tommasi
Giacomo Tommasi acquired his first parcel in Valpolicella Classica in 1902, beginning the family company’s documented wine history. The holdings expanded through successive generations, and the first official Tommasi Amarone vintage was produced in 1959. The fourth generation began taking key roles in 1997 and developed Tommasi Family Estates across several Italian regions.
Giancarlo Tommasi became director of production in 2000, separating technical leadership from the wider family ownership structure. Valpolicella remains the historic base, while estates in Tuscany, Puglia and Lombardy retain distinct regional identities. Tommasi's historic Valpolicella base remains the centre of a family group that now includes estates in several Italian regions.
