Wild raspberry and sour cherry lead, with pink peppercorn, scrubby florals, smoked herbs and graphite adding volcanic character. The palate is light-bodied and fresh, framed by fine, slightly sticky tannins and lifted by lively acidity. A saline, savoury finish makes it especially good slightly cool with grilled pork, roast mushrooms or charcuterie.

About Suertes del Marqués
The family behind Suertes del Marqués spent twenty years growing and selling grapes in Tenerife’s Valle de la Orotava before founding the winery in 2006. It works with local grape varieties and old, ungrafted vines on volcanic ground, including vines trained in the valley’s traditional cordón trenzado system.
The cellar uses native yeasts, unlined concrete and large wooden vessels, with sulphur added sparingly. The range includes both village wines and bottlings focused on individual parcels.
