Seven Stones 2022 Pebble Beach Rosé

Made entirely from Pinot Noir, this dry rosé is medium-bodied and unoaked. The wine comes from the Similkameen Valley in British Columbia, Canada, and carries 13.8 percent alcohol. A screwcap closes the bottle. Harvest in Cawston began two weeks later than usual after a slow, cool start to the growing season. The winery’s aromatic whites and rosés from that season show bright, mineral-driven profiles with above-average fruit intensity.

About Seven Stones
George Hanson bought a hayfield in Cawston in 1999 and turned it into Seven Stones winery in British Columbia’s Similkameen Valley. He planted the first vines in 2000, and the estate’s first vintage was 2003. The property grew to twenty acres.
Underground caves completed in 2016 provide naturally cool, steady conditions for barrel ageing and bottle storage. After Hanson’s death in 2021, the team continued the winery, and a bursary in his name supports viticulture students at Okanagan College.
