About Silvio Grasso
Silvio Grasso was founded in La Morra, in the Barolo region, in 1927. In the mid-1980s, Alessio Federico took over from his father Silvio and began bottling the estate’s entire production. He works with his wife Marilena and their sons Paolo and Silvio on the eleven-hectare property.
Nebbiolo is grown in several La Morra parcels with different slopes and soils. The Barolos are fermented in steel and aged in French oak, with the time in wood and bottle adjusted to each wine.
