Sherried autumn fruit leads the nose, with chocolate praline, gingerbread and sun-dried raisin adding richness. The palate is full and rounded, bringing caramelized fruit together with orange, sultana, warm spice and polished oak. Maturation in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks gives the whisky depth without obscuring its brighter fruit. The finish is long and gently drying, carrying cocoa, dried fruit and lingering spice. Serve neat or add a small amount of water to open the sweeter notes.
