About Oreste Stefano
Azienda Agricola Oreste Stefano began in 1950, when its namesake founder set out to make Barolo in Perno, a hamlet of Monforte d'Alba. The first estate label appeared in 1961, the same year the cellar acquired oak casks for Barolo. Winemaking has passed from father to son, with the family expanding the cellar over the years. Barolo from Perno remains central, alongside Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba Superiore and Langhe Arneis.
