Blackberry, black cherry and liquorice lead, with dark chocolate and earthy woodland notes adding depth. The palate is full-bodied and densely structured, balancing generous dark fruit with savoury spice and firm, polished tannins. A long, warming finish rewards a little air and suits slow-cooked beef, grilled lamb, smoky eggplant or mature cheddar.
