Intense purple colour accompanies black fruit, subtle oak and spice. The opening is generous, full and structured, with tannins; the profile also has richness, harmony, tension, minerality and length, with a fresh finish. The blend is fifty-nine percent Merlot and forty-one percent Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation lasts eighteen months in barrels, using sixty percent new oak and forty percent one-wine barrels.
