Florio 2020 VecchioFlorio Marsala Superiore Sweet
$26.99
Amber in colour with bright caramel tones, this opens on raisins, vanilla and dried fruit. The palate is warm and rounded, with a generous texture balanced by the wine’s savoury fortified character. Barrel ageing brings quiet depth without obscuring the fruit, while the sweetness remains measured and composed. It finishes with lingering raisin, dried fruit, vanilla and a gentle echo of caramel.

About Cantine Florio
Cantine Florio was founded on the Marsala waterfront in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio, who entered a fortified-wine trade then led by British houses. By 1880, the sea-facing complex included large ageing stores, its own still and direct access to the family's merchant fleet.
The high, sea-facing cellars have tufa floors and hold hundreds of oak barrels, vats and small casks. Temperature, humidity and exposure to oxygen vary through the cellars, shaping how the wines mature.
