The palate combines depth with freshness, allowing the dark fruit to feel vivid while soft tannins keep the structure approachable. About La Liquiere
The Vidal family has been making wine in Faugères for over sixty years and was instrumental in the creation of the appellation in 1982. Today Bernard Vidal is the current custodian of 60 hectares of top Faugères terroir. Despite being one of the smallest appellations in the region, Faugères represents the Languedoc at its very best. La Liquière is the inspiring story of a family who for three generations has strived to extract the very best from this privileged terroir while remaining faithful to their land and their rural roots.
