White peach, pear and grape lead an expressive profile, followed by violet and acacia as the wine opens. The palate is soft and round, with concentrated fruit and bright acidity. White peach, rose, violet, grapefruit and apricot appear through a long, generous finish. Sauvignon Blanc comes from four Sancerre soil types. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and fine-lees ageing lasts at least eight months.

About Château de Sancerre
Alexandre Marnier-Lapostolle acquired Château de Sancerre and its vineyard in 1919; Orchidées Maisons de Vin became the owner in 2017. The estate’s fifty-seven hectares lie on the Loire’s left bank, across the rolling hills of Sancerre.
Sauvignon Blanc is its focus, with four soil types—including flint and limestone—across the vineyards. The wines are fermented, aged and bottled at the estate. The range includes blends from different soils as well as wines from individual parcels.
