Taiheizan Tenko 40 Junmai Daiginjo 720 mL

$89.99

Summer flowers, tropical fruit and citrus rise from the glass, followed by fresh apple on a smooth, full-bodied palate. Yamada Nishiki polished to 40 percent gives Tenko 40 a fine aromatic register, while textured richness carries the sake through a long, composed finish. Serve cool with sushi, tempura, kaiseki dishes or simply seasoned meat.

About Kodama Brewing
The Kodama family established Kodama Brewing in Katagami, Akita, in 1879, initially making miso and soy sauce. Second-generation Tomokichi Kodama began brewing sake in 1913 under the Taiheizan name, taken from Mount Taihei. Its Kaden Kimoto method adapts a traditional fermentation starter for long, cool brewing. The flagship Tenko, introduced in 1989, is a Junmai Daiginjo made with Yamada Nishiki rice.
