Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle form the blend. Mango, dried apricot, honeyed yuzu, vanillin and candied ginger appear with luscious sweetness and citrus acidity. Tea leaf and cinnamon are present on the finish. The fruit is harvested in five vineyard passes, and the wine matures for twenty-four months in barrel. It contains fourteen percent alcohol.

About Château d'Armajan des Ormes
Vines were already growing at Château d’Armajan des Ormes when Charles IX and Catherine de’ Medici visited in 1565. Louis Machy bought the estate in 1953 and began restoring it with his daughter Marguerite and son-in-law Michel Perromat. Jacques and Guillaume Perromat continue the family’s winegrowing work today.
The six-hectare Sauternes vineyard lies over layers of clay, sand and gravel. Sémillon, Sauvignon and Muscadelle are picked in successive passes, then fermented slowly in small stainless-steel vats. The wine then spends eighteen to twenty-four months in barrel.
