Mulderbosch 2020 Sparkling Rosé Brut

Fresh strawberry, raspberry, peach, blood orange and herbs appear in a dry sparkling rosé with clean fruit and a fine mousse. The wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grown in Darling and Stellenbosch. Grapes are harvested early, crushed and cold-macerated for six hours before fermentation in stainless steel. Alcohol is twelve-point-five percent. The finish has good length.

About Mulderbosch
Mulderbosch took shape in Stellenbosch in 1989, when physician Larry Jacobs and winemaker Mike Dobrovic reclaimed a neglected property and began planting vineyards. Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay were among its early wines, distinguished by a barrel-shaped strip label. The range now also includes rosé, Chenin Blanc, sparkling wine and reds. Cellar methods vary by wine, using both tank and oak.
