The palate is full-bodied and polished, balancing generous black fruit with crisp acidity and firm, grainy tannins. Refined and persistent through the finish, it is a strong match for roast beef, braised short ribs, hard cheeses or lentil dishes.

About Elderton
Elderton Wines is a small, family owned & operated winery, situated in the heart of the Barossa Valley. The Elderton vineyard, which was planted in 1894 by the Scholz family, was purchased by the Ashmead family in the late 1970’s. Elderton shot to world acclaim after producing some of Australia’s most highly regarded Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. They are known for their leadership in environmental sustainability such as solar power, recycled water use and biodynamic farming as well as their certified organic practices.
