Croix Mouton 2018 Bordeaux Superieur
91 Decanter: “This is an extremely good Croix Mouton and should be good value – it’s juicy and well put together with raspberry and crushed blackberry fruits abound.”
Croix Mouton produces wines intended for pleasure, and excellent while still young. Entirely Merlot-driven, they are full-bodied and rich in flavour, easy to drink but with finesse, and have a stunning display of fresh red fruit on the palate. After the release of its first vintage, Château Croix Mouton was very quickly recognized by Bordeaux wine experts as being excellent value for money.
Springfield Estate Wild Yeast Chardonnay
A compelling and unwooded Chardonnay. Naturally fermented with wild yeasts and aged on lees, it shows ripe pear, white peach and lemon curd with a subtle creamy texture balanced by bright minerality. Crafted with a minimal-intervention philosophy in Robertson Valley, this is a Chardonnay that feels expressive, textured and quietly complex.
Feret Lambert 2022 Bordeaux Superieur
A fresh and expressive Bordeaux with lifted aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and blackberry layered with subtle florals, spice, and a hint of graphite. The palate is medium-bodied and supple, showing juicy red and dark fruit framed by bright acidity and fine, lightly grippy tannins that add structure without heaviness. Clean and approachable yet nicely focused, finishing with a savoury, mineral edge and an easy, food-friendly charm.
Sohler Philippe 2019 Sylvaner Zellberg
Sohler Philippe 2020 Riesling Gc Heissen
Chatelet 2018 Hautes Cotes De Nuits
Look for red fruit (strawberry and cherry) and hints of violets and spice. Fine, medium- bodied tannins on the palate with soft and refreshing acidity round out this savoury Burgundian red. Utterly delicious on its own and versatile with food.
For wine lovers looking for that rare bottle of Red Burgundy that truly over delivers for the price. This Pinot Noir will stand out on the shelf for being one of the very few offerings under $45.00
