Plum and savoury notes lead the profile, followed by lush dark fruit and a spicy, peppery undercurrent. Smoked bay leaf and pipe tobacco add further detail. The tannins are fully dispersed, while sweet fruit balances a final green note. Made from Carménère in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, the wine carries fourteen percent alcohol and suits empanadas, beef tacos or other savoury dishes.
