Tantalus Vineyards 2014 Blanc de Noir

Canadian Sparkling
$37.99

Pale rose-gold in colour, this traditional-method sparkling Pinot Noir brings strawberry, sour cherry, cranberry, pink grapefruit, mandarin, almond and lemon brioche. Red berries, apple, mandarin and toast appear on the palate. Fruit came from a Clone 93 block planted in the mid-eighties. The wine spent six months in neutral oak. Bottle fermentation used the traditional method, and lees ageing lasted two years.

Tantalus 2024 Riesling

Canadian White
$39.99

Mandarin, apple, pink grapefruit, citrus pith and wet stone are present. Riesling comes from Grimsby Hillside and Picone Vineyard in Ontario, where both sites are planted to clone 21B. Whole-bunch-pressed juice settled for two days, was refrigerated, and travelled to British Columbia. The final blend contains just under fifteen grams per litre of residual sugar and has tension.

Tantalus 2014 Old Vines Riesling

Canadian White

Broken stone, wild herbs, earthy grass and eraser notes meet lime leaf, lime pith, green apple, verbena and pear. The palate is medium-bodied, with nervy acidity and a brisk, grippy finish. Riesling comes from an established two-acre block on deep silty soil. The fruit is sustainably farmed, cropped low and cellared for two years before release.

Pinot Noir provides the full composition from Looney Vineyard in Oregon’s Ribbon Ridge. Maturation lasts twelve months in French oak, one quarter new.

Tantalus 2024 Stoneridge Vineyard Pinot Gris

American White

Papaya and pineapple lead, with yellow flowers, orange creamsicle, damp clay and cardamom adding detail. A chalky mineral note and rounded texture shape the vibrant finish, well suited to roast poultry, shellfish or creamy vegetable dishes.

Tantalus 2022 Pinot Noir Maija

Canadian Red
$43.99

Lifted florals, ripe red cherry and dried strawberry lead, with forest floor, thyme and graphite adding savoury detail. The palate grows darker and slightly richer, bringing bramble berry and blackberry through a long finish. Juicy tannins show a supple grip and release, keeping the wine vibrant, approachable and composed rather than heavy.

Tantalus 2023 Riesling

Canadian White
$41.99

Bergamot, jasmine and mandarin open with chalk, persimmon, slate and lemon oil. The palate is lush and juicy, bringing orange blossom, lemon peel, early peach and wet-stone minerality into focus.
