Phillips Brewing & Malting Co.

Matt Phillips started brewing in Victoria in 2001 with a maxed-out credit card and equipment he helped weld himself. The brewery experiments with established beer styles, seasonal releases and other fermented drinks. Its own malting plant opened in 2015, allowing the brewery to work with local farmers and take more control over grain quality and recipe development. Phillips also supports grassroots projects in local farming, the environment, art, music, theatre and cycling.
